Masterclass: Using Copilot and Power Automate with Office 365 (3 parts)

Microsoft 365 Copilot is rapidly becoming the everyday AI assistant for research teams. In this masterclass you'll gain hands-on experience using Copilot across the research workflow, from qualitative analysis to quantitative work and storyfinding, with practical exercises you can apply to your team's daily work.

The Course Three 2-hour interactive online lessons, delivered by Ray Poynter. Each lesson is accompanied by hands-on tasks and practical exercises so you can apply what you've learned. You'll receive access to the recordings, slides, and supplementary materials after each lesson.

Lesson Outlines Lesson 1: Foundations of Copilot for Research. An introduction to Microsoft 365 Copilot and how it fits into the research workflow. You'll learn the fundamentals of prompting Copilot inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, and see real-world examples of how research teams are using it day-to-day.

Lesson 2: Qualitative and Quantitative Research with Copilot. Practical workflows for using Copilot on qualitative analysis, transcript review, coding, survey design, and quantitative analysis in Excel - including techniques for grounding Copilot in your project files.

Lesson 3: Storyfinding, Reporting, and Scaling Copilot Across the Team. Building reports and decks with Copilot, finding and shaping the story in your data, and practical guidance on rolling Copilot out to a research team - including governance, prompts libraries, and quality control.

The course does NOT require coding or technical experience, but assumes basic familiarity with Microsoft 365. To complete the practical exercises you should have access to a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence.
